How AWS Panorama Works
- AWS Panorama is a service that brings computer vision to your on-premises camera network.
- You install the AWS Panorama Appliance or another compatible device in your data center, register it with AWS Panorama, and deploy computer vision applications from the cloud.
- AWS Panorama works with your existing real-time streaming protocol (RTSP) network cameras.
- The appliance runs secure computer vision applications from AWS Partners, or applications that you build yourself with the AWS Panorama Application SDK.
- The AWS Panorama Appliance can run multiple computer vision models against multiple video streams in parallel and output the results in real time.
Benefits of AWS Panorama

- It integrates with other AWS services, allowing you to track data from the application over time.
Limitations of AWS Panorama
- There are quotas for AWS Panorama per AWS account, per AWS Region.
- There are limits on AWS Panorama resources for each file system in an AWS Region.
- It requires understanding of machine learning modeling or algorithms to fully utilize its capabilities.
